Daramack Lighting is an independent lighting consultant based in Belfast with over 15 years experience in exterior lighting design working on projects throughout the UK, Ireland and Canada. Daramack Lighting has vast experience in providing commercial lighting designs for:

Lighting and electrical designs are carried out to and with a deep understanding of the various Institutional standards, guidance, best practice and industry publications such as BS5489 and BS7671.
Daramack uses the latest lighting and electrical software for calculation purposes and AutoCAD for the production of installation drawings. A design report is usually included with the design drawings depending on client or local authority requirements.

Whilst many suppliers offer a "free" design service their design fee may be incorporated into the cost of equipment and it won’t include an electrical design.
Lighting solutions are provided by Daramack to match customer budget and expectations using the most appropriate lighting equipment from only reputable suppliers such as Thorn, Thorlux, Philips, Iguzzini, Bega, Zumtobel, Holophane etc.
Whilst many of these suppliers offer a "free" design service their design fee may be incorporated into the cost of equipment and it won’t include the electrical design. A further drawback will be that there is no independent check on whether the actual design solution provided gives a cost effective solution and achieves the client's expectations.
An independent consultant is not affiliated with a specific supplier and therefore has the freedom to choose a manufacturer that best fits the client's budget, carry out a lighting design to ensure a Standards-compliant solution has been achieved whilst using only the minimum number of lighting units. Not only does this save money on the lighting units but also on the electrical distribution and associated installation costs, like trenching, ducting and cabling.
